My brother is an alcoholic - he has recently left rehab and will not get any further treatment. He lives with my mum and he is driving her into the ground. He drinks all the time and takes valium by the dozen. He won't go back to rehab so that's not an option but does anyone know if there is any kind of respite care/refuge available for people living with alcoholics in Sydney i.e. for my brother to go to to give my mother respite. If anyone knows of any crisis services available in Sydney I would love to know. I am really worried about how my mum is going to cope with this. I know she has already considered suicide. What can we do?How can i help my mum?

Yor mom should throw him out if hes over 18 that is.He will kill her health.
