What you have wrote sounds like your trying to escape from the conditions in your life. Most addicts use for this reason. Alcoholics anonymous does not have an absolute definition of an alcoholic but has an outline that if any fit you, you probably are. One of the indicators is drinking alone. Get on line find a Alcoholics Anonymous and talk with them. They have all been there and more. Stop now take control of your life. You'll be able to make new friends and though times are tough and jobs scarce it will change. You'll see. alcohol and drugs may seem pleasurable but there final destination is destruction. Alcohol causes depression. I have known some to commit suicide that had a happy life. It is not considered a drug by most but most definitely is one of the worst drugs out there. This is especially because it is legal so most don't regard it's dangers. Focus on starting a new life, making new friends and finding a job. Lay off the sauce, that is taking you no where but a dead depressing end. It may temporarily relieve a situational for a while but the problem is still there in the morning and sometimes worse. My guess is you are probably an alcoholic if not on the path. If you can't defeat it on your own get help. Pray, even the scientists recognize prayer as a powerful healing tool. Helping others is healing too. Get involved in a church. let them pray for you. You will find that the things you can't do alone are easy with the help of a higher power. Con congratulations on recognizing there may be a problem and wanting to do something about it. God bless your every endeavor. How to know if you're becoming an alcoholic?
Most alcoholics don't stumble around town, shaking, desperate for a sip of wine. They are hard working folks, whose alcohol consumption rarely affects their lives negatively. The vast majority of alcoholics are fully functioning people. It's a myth you need to go on benders to be alcoholic. And if you're questioning your consumption, it's likely you are an alcoholic. At least you're not in denial or in the dark.
