31 and I drink occasionally. Maybe about once a month I guess but I am not really into keeping track. It is usually at some sort of social gathering where it is customary to make toasts and stuff like that. Why??? Tradition and friendly bonding time I guess. I never really analyzed why.


I will share a bottle of wine with my boyfriend, usually on a special occasion like a romantic dinner on a holiday or birthday. I used to drink with friends for the purpose of getting drunk and acting wild when I was younger but it got boring after a while plus I moved several states away from most of my old friends. I don't go out and make new ';drinking buddies'; anymore. I am much more interested in work friends and people with the potential to have a positive influence on me.How old are you and do you drink alcohol?? Why do you do it?? I am 52. I used to drink when I would go out dancing so that I felt less inhibited but I never got blitzed. I really don't drink much now either. Occasionally I admit that if I am at a party I will drink a beer to ';fit in'; but I really don't even do more than take a few sips. Once in awhile after a hard day I will drink a glass of wine to relax in the tub. It really doesn't play much a part in my life as I am not a big fan of how it feels if I have too much. Also, I would rather waste the calories on other stuff. I have no experience living with an alcoholic.

also i dont drink because my little sister looks up to me and i know i wouldnt want her drinking at my age.


but my friends say they do it because its just the way they have fun
I'm 15 and i only drink a half or one glass of wine with dinner or for a special occasion but i don't drink wine every night. I only drink because wine is actually good for ur body it cleans ur organs out. but i perfer to only drink a half or one glass of red or white wine

Because it is fun, %26amp;ndd gives me an excuse to act crazyYy at parties. I don't do stupid stuff %26amp;ndd i know the limit. I do not do it to fit in believe it or not in high school there isn't alot of peer pressure as you may thinkk.

But I don't drink alcohol for either of the reasons you gave. If I want to escape reality I play videogames.
I don't drink because I don't like what it does to my body.
